Research brings me challenges, exciting projects, fun from work with interesting, inspiring people, and a lot of joy every time my work is rapidly applied to help others. When you mix high-resolution optical imaging with a pinch of tricky data processing, a little bit of user-friendly engineering you can create magic tools for medical diagnostics and basic science. My current focus is on enhancing volumetric optical imaging by various sources of contrast (motion, polarization, mechanical). I'm also working hard to advance the space of miniature, fiber-based imaging probes for various imaging techniques.
